Helping Our Women (HOW) Founded in 1992 to educate, empower and support women with chronic and life-threatening illnesses from Provincetown through Eastham; provides monthly stipends, support groups, transportation and advocacy and referrals services open to the entire community. Lily House, located in Wellfleet, opening soon. Its mission is to provide around-the-clock hospice-level care in a peaceful, compassionate, and contemplative environment where terminally ill residents can live and die with dignity, comfort, and grace while being cared for with love—at no cost to those in need.
